Murder on the Beach Bookstore, Delray Beach, Florida
Join me at Murder on the Beach Bookstore, where I'm signing Deal with the Devil at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 18 at Murder on the Beach Mystery Bookstore, 273 NE 2nd Ave., Delray Beach 33444.
Deal with the Devil and 13 Short Stories starts on a hot day in Fort Lauderdale, where a woman meets a devil in a bank line. Two other short stories feature the Dead-End Jobs' Helen Hawthorne. Helen's "Sex and Bingo" is about high stakes gambling on the high seas. Fans of St. Louis reporter Francesca Vierling will enjoy "His Funkalicious Majesty," set in the 1970s. A cheating bridegroom gets what's coming to him in the award-winning "Wedding Knife." There's more, from restless 1950s wives dead set on working ("The Seven") to a man who gets a luscious blonde as a birthday gift – from his wife ("Red Meat"). While we're talking award-winning, my collection's cover is by Gail Cross, who does Stephen King's covers.
Can't make the signing? Order your signed copies by calling the bookstore at 561-279-7790.
